Angola will join the Single Window for Foreign Trade (SWFT) platform starting on 31 March, thus bringing forward its accession to this electronic platform, which aims to facilitate the movement of goods across borders, said on Thursday in Luanda the chief of operations of the Ministry of Trade, Augusta Fortes.
The accession of Angola to the SWFT was planned for 2021. This multi-sector tool will align the ministries of trade, finance (through the General Tax Administration), health and agriculture, among others, and plans to reduce customs clearance time and costs, as well as to provide greater security and speed in the handling of #customsprocedures.
