  • While we can't predict what tomorrow holds, we brought tomorrow's opportunities directly to you through the Indonesia-Qatar Investment Forum 2024, our first-ever investment forum held on 13 May, in Doha, Qatar. With opening remarks by H.E. Ridwan Hassan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Qatar, and a keynote address from Mr. Imam Soejoedi, Advisor on Macroeconomics to the Minister of Investment of Indonesia, the Indonesia-Qatar Investment Forum 2024 commenced. Joined by Qatar's influential C-level company leaders, we offered concrete project proposals already in advanced pre-feasibility stages. We were also honored to have Mr. Nicky Lee, Director & CFO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, who shared the remarkable story of how the company navigated challenges with the steadfast backing of the Indonesian government, despite initial doubts, leading to the merger being recognized as the most successful merger that empowers Indonesia. Post-election, investment realization in Q1 2024 surged by 22.1% compared to the same period in 2023 and by 9.8% compared to Q4 2023 (during the campaign period). While the investment realization data from Qatar to Indonesia was relatively insignificant, we believe the potential and the room for growth in the future is clearly there. Reach out to us today, digitally or in person. The Ministry of Investment team offers end-to-end services to ensure your business's success in Indonesia. With all these opportunities at your fingertips, Indonesia stands as your prime investment destination
